An all new Assassin’s Creed game was announced during E3 this year, but do you remember the other Assassin’s Creed game that was announced as well? If you’re a hardcore Assassin’s Creed fan like me you probably do and you just can’t wait to get your hands on this game.
What am I talking about?
I’m of course talking about the new mobile game from Behaviour Interactive; Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion.
I got the privilege to sit down with the Senior Creative Director Dominick Meissner and his tablet to take a look at this new AC mobile game. Rebellion is a free to play turn based strategy role playing game (F2P RPG) set in Spanish Inquisition, right between the setting from the movie and Ezio’s story. The game will include 43 different playable characters such as Ezio, Aguilar and Claudia along with 20 new characters created for Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion.
Each character belongs to one of three different classes; Assassin, Enforcer or Specialist, each with their own special ability and stats. And each and everyone can be upgraded the games headquarters.
Your brotherhood can be trained, upgraded, crafting items and equipments as well inside the headquarters. Additional rooms can be added just like in Fallout Shelter for more upgrade options. To unlock new characters to your brotherhood you’ll need to do missions, you’ll head into a mission with three assassins, just remember to look at your stats and abilities to your assassins for the best combination for your mission. Each mission gives you either DNA fragments, gathering resources or materials for looting.
What I noticed first was the character design and general visuals in this game, it’s brilliant!
I’m not sure how to describe the character design, but when I look at how Ezio looks like I’m feeling joyful and badass at the same time, maybe even a little childish as well.
So after having a small gameplay session with this game, I know for sure that I can’t wait to really get my hands on this game on my own phone or tablet and dig into depth in this game.
