Life is Strange: Before the storm – the prequel to Dontnod and Square Enix’s beloved coming-of-age story from 2015 is now twice as big! The second episode releases for PlayStation, Xbox One and PC today.
In addition to the new episode, players on the PlayStation Pro can now play the game in 4K resolution by selecting the “high resolution” mode. Jeff Litchford, vice president of Deck Nine Games promises support for 4K on Xbox One as well “later this year.”
Life is Strange: Before the Storm follows the life of Chloe Price, Max’s side-kick/best friend/love interest/raison d’être from the first game, through her pre-Max days. You can read our review of the first episode here.
The preview reads:
“As Chloe and Rachel’s family life continues to crumble, their friendship blossoms and the two girls discuss running away together. However, before they can go Chloe gets involved with an errand for Frank Bowers, which puts her in a dangerous situation and exposes an uglier side to Arcadia Bay…”
and the official trailer seems to promise both romance, drama and excitement!
