Call of Duty World League revealed their plans for the 2018 season of competitive Call of Duty today. The 2018 season will have a total prize pool of $4.2 million and starts officially with the release of Call of Duty: WWII on the 3rd of November.
The league will consist of the ability to earn points in online play as well as several events and tournaments with larger point prizes. At the end of the season in August the top players will meet in the World League Championship and duke it out for the title of World Champion.
New in 2018 is the “National Circuit”: a series of online events in Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, UK and US. that will provide an extra opportunity for the best teams to earn points.

The first big live event will be the Dallas Global Open on 8-10 December.
