Dobbel XP i World of Warcraft Season of Discovery

For de som er "sene til festen" på World of Warcraft Season of Discovery er det gode nyheter!

Activision held a conference earlier today, where they revealed more information about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Most of the press conference revolved the returning “Zombies mode”, with some of the new things being social systems, more customizable zombie modes, and a “stamp system” – in an effort to counter cheating. There were of course, some other new features. This including new 3D made weapons, unique sets of attachments for each gun, each weapon will also have a realistic, re-traceable recoil pattern. One pretty huge new thing is that healing is no longer automatic, and players will need to press a button

Another new feature is “Callings”, which will have new ways to play a Call of Duty game, with seasonal happenings. There are some good news for people who enjoy playing alone, with this year’s edition having bot support, so you no longer need to trust your friends watching your back. Lastly, there is a new mode called “Zombie Rush”, which will include (even) more difficulty settings.

The three zombie modes, who will all be available at launch, are called “IX,” which starts a brand new storyline that has players battling against an ancient order in a Roman battle arena. The second is called “Voyage of Despair,” which takes place on a luxurious cruise ship, perhaps the Titanic. Finally, the narrative that previous Zombies modes have told, the Aether story, will continue in a map that is being called “Blood of the Dead”.

David Vonderhaar mentioned that Black Ops 4 is launching exclusive on Battle.net. It is made in cooperation with Beenox and Blizzard Entertainment. The new game will have a redesigned UI. And good news, as long as your PC is good enough – the framerate is uncapped, and it will run in 4K resolution.

“The Black Ops community means everything to us, so we knew in order to deliver something really special for our fans like Blackout, with the biggest map we’ve ever created in Call of Duty, we had to push ourselves and our tech to the absolute limits,” said Mark Gordon, Co-Studio Head, Treyarch. “The same goes for our PC community. They have inspired and fueled us to set a new standard on PC across every aspect from dedicated servers and security to full optimization and polish that’s worthy of both Black Ops and Battle.net.”

To what was no surprise to no-one here at Ulvespill, Black Ops 4 will have its own battle royale mode, called Blackout. The first map will be about 1500 times the size of the all time favorite Nuketown. The gamemode will also feature land-, sea-, and air vehicles.

Black Ops 4 gives our community more ways to have fun with their friends than anything Treyarch has ever created and introduces meaningful innovations to every element of the game, including next level tactical team-based multiplayer, the biggest zombies offering yet and Blackout, where the largest map in Call of Duty history brings together the rich universe of Black Ops. More than 200 million players have called Black Ops home, and they’ve played for more than 15 billion hours. This is an incredible community that has inspired the development team to take their innovative gameplay design to new heights.” said Rob Kostich, EVP and GM, Call of Duty.

A few other things worth noticing is that PlayStation is a new partner of CoD, and will probably get timed exclusive DLCs. There will be no campaign mode this time around. More news will be announced later this summer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 12th of October. Fans can pre-order now and get access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta.
