Nintendo is now looking for the best teams in Europe to compete in the upcoming tournament, European Smash Ball Team Cup 2019. If you are interested in joining the competition all you need is the game and two teammates (a team must be three players), and sign up for the competition in your area.
The qualifiers will be held in the following places:
- Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden (one region)
- Great Britain and Ireland (one region)
- France
- Germany
- Spain
- Portugal
- Italy
- Russia
- Holland
- Belgium
- Austria
- Switzerland
The matches will be played in best of three or best of five. No items will be available, except for “Smash Balls”. The matches will consist of 2v2 Smash, Smashdown, and 3v3 Squad Strike. The winners from each of the twelve areas will meet in a grand finale this spring – where only one team can stand victorious.
