During the meeting with Norway’s Prime Minister, Erna Solberg, US President Donald Trump announced that the US had started delivering F-52 fighter jets to Norway – there’s just a slight problem, the F-52 fighter jet doesn’t exist in real life. It is a fictional plane from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
“In November we started delivering the first F-52s and F-35 fighter jets,” Trump said. “We have a total of 52 and they’ve delivered a number of them already a little ahead of schedule.”
Although it was probably just a slip-up from the prepared statement, the Washington Post tried to contact White House Press Secretary Sarah H. Sanders to get a statement on whether or not the President was secretly a huge fan of the series, without success.
