Sony has provided us with some new insight on the PlayStation 5, during a show at CES 2020. First and foremost, Sony revealed the new logo. Which, to the surprise of no-one, looks exactly like the PS3 and PS4 logo (just with the number five instead).
More importantly, however, Sony also discussed some of the console’s hardware features, announcing five new ones.
- 3D Audio Sound
- Haptics / Adaptive Triggers
- Ultra-high-speed SSD
- Hardware-based Ray Tracing
- Ultra HD Blu-Ray
In other news today – the controller that ships with the DevKit for the PS5 was leaked on Facebook – it looks a lot like the DualShock 4 – but why change a thing that works?
