In a post earlier this afternoon, Rockstar games announced the release date of long awaited Red Dead Redemption 2: the 26th of October 2018.
Rockstar apologized for the delay as the game was originally planned for “spring 2018”, but say they need the extra time for polish and finishing touches.

The original Red Dead Redemption was released in May of 2010, so dedicated fans are used to waiting. Another couple of months for polish is probably good, all things considered.
