The visually sophisticated adventure game Windstorm – Ari’s Arrival will be released for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The title, from gaming label Wild River of Munich-based Eurovideo Medien GmbH, ties into its successful predecessor Windstorm – from 2018 in terms of content and expands the gameplay with numerous features that contribute to an entirely new gaming experience. The player has total freedom to explore the world around the Kaltenbach Estate and embark on exciting adventures.
The plot focuses on the spirited orphan, Ari, who has been bounced from one foster home to another before arriving at the Kaltenbach Estate. Once there, she forms a special bond with the black stallion, Windstorm, who is a shadow of his former self due to a traumatizing experience. In the role of Ari, players undertake a multitude of tasks, take a stand against the ambitious Isabelle and the merciless horsegroom Thordur, and finally help Windstorm to recover from his trauma and regain his former strength. Ari must not only be able to ride well, but also prove she can handle a bow and arrow.
