In 2014 Marcus Lehto founded a new independent development studio named V1 Interactive. Marcus Lehto is known for his work as creative director at Bungie and co-founder of Halo. Now partnering up with Private Division, a new title emerged on the 11th of July; Disintegration.
“We’re lucky enough to work with someone like Marcus, a gaming icon whose creativity has influenced an entire industry,” said Michael Worosz, Executive Vice President and Head of Private Division. “We’ve been with Marcus and the V1 Interactive team since the studio’s inception and have seen the organization grow its talent base throughout our partnership. As such, we have high confidence in Disintegration, and cannot wait to introduce it as another unique experience that further enhances the Private Division lineup.”
Disintegration is a sci-fi first-person shooter, and the initial release date is during Take Two’s fiscal year 2021 (1st of April 2020 – 31st of March 2021), and that is what we know so far. More will be unveiled during the Opening Live Show at Gamescom this year, and hopefully, we will get the opportunity to see a presentation or even get our hands on this game when we travel to Gamescom in August.
