Square Enix has announced a new DLC for Final Fantasy XV. Episode Ignis will follow the story of the teams ever-dependable chef while Noctis lies unconscious after the Trial of Leviathan. The episode will release to PS4 and Xbox One on the 13th of December this year.
Along with the announcement comes an action-packed story trailer that shows Ignis fighting his way through the streets of Altissia as well as an absolutely adorable meeting with Noctis as a child. The trailer also reveals that Episode Ignis will have music composed by Yasunori Mitsuda – the composer behind series like Chrono and Xeno as well as Mario Party and Soul Sacrifice.
There is also an interview with Yasunori Mitsuda about his work on Episode Ignis with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra. (There are subtitles if you turn on English captions for those of us who do not speak Japanese)
