The Giro d’Italia have come to an end, and the next major race will be Tour deFrance 2019, with the video game adaption due for release on the 27th of June on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Until then, we’re giving you the news on whats new in the 2019 version of the official game!
There’s two new game modes:
- Online multiplayer mode: For the first time, you can pit yourself against othe cyclists over short races for up to four players simultaniously. For even more of an adrenaline rush, the challenges are back this year, so you can experience the thrills of decents and the intensity of sprints.
- The World Championships: In this new mode, players can lead a team or national team. If your cyclist’s results are good enough at the end of the season, he may be selected to represent his country and try to win the legendary rainbow jersey!
Additionally, players can compete in four other official races, other than Tour the France. The legendary Tour of Flanders makes it debut alongside Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Nice and the critérnum du Dauphine.
