We visited “Aktivt Konnerud’s” (Active Konnerud (Konnerud = Village)) Christmas LAN party last weekend where up to 30 youths and kids enjoyed gingerbread and video games (especially Fortnite).

We thought that only playing Fortnite on modern consoles and PC’s was a bit boring, so we brought a few old retro consoles with us to the event, where the kids could play 007 Goldeneye, Pokemon Stadium, Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash on the Nintendo 64 on an old fashion TV. We also brought a PlayStation 2 with 007 Nightfire, Burnout 3 Takedown and more. We did, of course, bring a few “modern” titles as well such as Kingdom Hearts 3, Ratchet & Clank (PS4 version) and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

But we can’t attend an event without a minor competition right?
As our Mario RC cars with balloons was a huge success at The Hive this year, we arranged a small double-elimination tournament, where they could win a Ulvespill Gold Medal, Ulvespill Merch, and some Destiny 2 merch.

But that’s not all, thanks to our friends at PR Nordic, we could provide some awesome Destiny 2 merch from Bungie and a Turtle Beach gaming headset. From the beginning of December, we held a competition on our website and the winner was announced during this event.
But we did get a lot of awesome merch from them, so our very own Gaming Santa Claus had to bring some Destiny merch and candy for the kids when he visited the event. (And I think one of our crew members fell in love with our Gaming Santa?)
