Dobbel XP i World of Warcraft Season of Discovery

For de som er "sene til festen" på World of Warcraft Season of Discovery er det gode nyheter!

We have the pleasure to announce our new Esport Manager here at Ulvespill Esport. Christian has a lot of experience in Esports, so there is no doubt he is the man to bring glory to our troops. We couldn’t exactly let Mr. Airbourne get away from this, so we finally sat down and had a small introduction interview with him.

Who are you and what is your previous experience?

My name is Christian Airbourne Sjursen and I´m a 29 years old guy that lives in Skien, with my girlfriend and her daugther. Been a stepdad for soon two years now and I enjoy it.
Currently working a freelancer. I started my career back in 2010 when I started to play CS with friends. I never wanted to become good or anything like that, it was just for fun.

After some time we started to actually look like a strong team and we wanted to become good. After a long time, we started to wanted to go separate ways and so we did.

I did however not wanted to let it go and build #TeamNoFilter. We started as a small community team and never looked back. I remember me and my friend (MrSauceLive on Twitch) started to hunt on cs-go and we were a duo that took a win after win and the rank just never ended. I have never been the best gamer, but I’m definitely not the worst either.

After 10 long years with gaming on a hardcore level, I have decided to step down as a player and just work in the esport part. Mostly because of my family life and want to spend more time with them. On my journey, I have been part of many teams but will like to thank the whole TeamNoFilter, LeaveAsGroup, Maniax, and Ulvespill for the last years of fun

Why did you want to join Ulvespill?

Well, I had never heard about Ulvespill until I met (Ipeerainbowz), a fellow LaG member. He told me about Ulvespill, and I started to read about them and found out what great work they did. I wanted to be a part of it because I knew my retirement was coming soon and after everything I heard about these lovely people, I just knew this was my next stop. And here I am!

And why as the Esport Manager?

Well at the start I just wanted to get a foot into Ulvespill, so I went through what they were looking for and I applied for it and got the job. I have been a part of Esport for so long time that I know a lot about it and I’m also used to look for players and sign them. Just like I did in the TeamNoFilter best era!. As an esport manager, you always have something to do, there´s always a match or some issues that need to be fixed.

When I first started the job, the same day we lost a lot of team players that went to other places. I was like what on earth is going on, but I learned fast that it wasn’t because of me, but for other reasons. I was, of course, disappointed about it, but after checking their results for this season, well I don’t miss them.

We are gonna rebuild the Ulvespill brand and I´m looking forward to helping them on their way.

Any comments on these team’s performances this season?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
The first thing that I got told was that this team was based on only be a fun team, so I decided to join in as a player for one last season. So I played two matches, hurray!
We had some easy wins because of Walk Over but also we started to recruit more players. Now we have build up a good team and we are ready for 4th div after finishing second place in 5 div. The new captain for that team is (Fluteplayer)

Rocket League
A team that had a struggle just before the tournaments was gonna start. After the last match yesterday that ended up as a loss, we have to fall down to the second division and of course, I’m not happy with that. I expected more but we are gonna rank up again and we will work hard for that to happen

Hearthstone
Well, when you see the roster you expect a lot. It´s not a bad team, but with only 2 wins and 4 loss, it´s not as good as I expected. I´m not happy that we didn´t even show up to our match against Drammen BK esport. That´s like a really important match but our team mixed up the date and that´s not good. But I know they will hit back, I really believe in them and I´m sure they will get back on a winning streak!

Tekken 7
I have never been a really huge Tekken fan, but after seeing a Tekken tournament on The Hive this year, it was so amazing to see the talents. I´m happy with my Tekken players but I want more players the next season. The Tekken team should keep on working hard. 76702480_1010190235991045_3495557192247934976_o

Any other teams planned for the future except the newly started Call of Duty team? Will there be a League of Legends team?

We have been trying to start a League of Legends team, however finding motivated players without salary is a big issue, a lot of players thinks they are experts and deserves a lot of money. That’s not the case in a lot of player application. I´m working on getting a League of Legends team ready. We also have a new Call of Duty team.

We are in the lookout for a PUBG team and getting a better Apex team as well that can play with TheBaron690 and the owner himself. I also want to build a Rainbow Six Siege team for next season. We also want FIFA 20 players!

Your opinion of Ulvespill as a whole?

Its been rough months since my day one in Ulvespill. Like told earlier with a lot of teams and players leaving, it’s been really difficult on some level, but I’m optimistic about the new season. At The Hive in Drammen, I got to meet some of the members and players and it was nice to finally meet them. I really enjoy my stay here so far and looking forward to a new season

What would you say is the Ulvespill Esports goal next season?

  1. CS-GO team rank up from 4th to 3 division
  2. CS-go team 2 enjoy their times in 5th division and maybe another rank up?
  3. Rocket League rank up from 2th division to 1 division again
  4. Build a new Pubg team and be top six in our division
  5. Hearthstone I expect to be better than this season and more training and more matches. I also expect to be next season
  6. Tekken 7 I hope for more players on the team
  7. Start a Rainbow 6 Siege and FIFA 20 team

If you could invite three people to dinner, fictional or real, who would that be, and what would you serve as dinner?

  1. Selena Gomez
  2. Dr. Disrespect
  3. C. Ronaldo
Selena_Gomez_2016
Selena Gomez

Would have served them a real American Steak. The reason why I would have picked them is that I need someone to entertain: Selena Gomez. We have ofc the Doc himself, with some classy entertainment and who could have been streaming the whole thing. And ofc world best player Cristiano Ronaldo, say no more!

What would you say is your guilty pleasure?

Well, I have a lot of them! But of course, I can easily eat a whole box of ice cream every day. I just love it. I eat the ice cream straight from the box. I also need the pillow to lay on an awkward way to get to sleep.
