At Gamescom, we had the pleasure to visit Nintendo’s Business Booth and go hands-on diverse upcoming Nintendo titles such as The Witcher 3 on Switch, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokemon Shield and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
Sadly the Nintendo Switch Lite was locked inside a glass box, so we didn’t get hands-on this.

It is always difficult to write a first impression article on titles we only have tested in approx 20-30 minutes. At Nintendo, we had a total of one hour on, so that meant we didn’t have that long to test things the way we would like.
But out of the titles we tested, we had the most fun with Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
Pokemon was confusing and sadly didn’t impress us as much, and The Witcher 3 on Switch might be a good idea, but we thought the graphics got downgraded a lot (not an issue if you only use handheld mode) but the controls had a lot of delays, so hopefully this will be fixed before launch.

I hoped we could bring even more detailed impressions, but max 10 minutes on each game isn’t enough to give a fully hands-on impression article.
