F1 2017 @ Gamescom 2017 – Hands On

We have been given the chance to try out the newest and ninth instalment of the F1 series developed by Codemasters. We got to test on a formula rigg with F1 steering wheel with full set of buttons and switches to use in game. And what a feeling it is with a wheel, when driving in over 300 km/h. You feel the grip of the wheels on the surface and how much you can push the car while in corners. It’s tight and precise which is important when going in such a speed. There is enough assist to help you through the game if you are new to this sort of game. But if you really want realism turn all assist off, that’s when you get the real experience. F1 works also exceptional with controller of course, and won’t be any worse experience. It’s more about what you want out of the game. From what we tested  it seems like a good Formula sim racer.

Set to release 25, August 2017
