2019 has come to an end, and we’re entering 2020 with open gaming arms. Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice won the official Game of the Year award from ‘The Game Awards’, but as usual we at Ulvespill don’t always agree with the nominees, hence the startup of our annual Ulvespill Awards.
Throughout December, our readers have voted on our nominees in various categories, one of them being our Game of the Year. The results are in, some of the categories came in close, but the main award was a certain winner with 70% of the votes.

This year we added one more category which our staff members have voted on. And that is Ulvespill’s biggest fail. In 2019 some of our staff members attended The Gathering in Hamar, Norway. Everyone who attends this event with a LAN seat can build their very own shelf which grants a lot more space for your hardware, storage space, etc.
So we thought why not give this a chance, so we Google LAN shelves and found one who should be easy enough to build.
Our final product……
So the design wasn’t the best, but it could provide us much storage space during the event. But we encountered two problems before we even manage to begin our travel to Hamar. First found out that our shelf wasn’t in levels, so we had to bring out the saw to even the levels, but then we encountered our second problem, the shelf was too big to get it into the car…so the saw had to do some more work…
Once we arrived Hamar, the wheels that we had put on the shelf broke, and the backside cracked because of the weight before we even had the chance to enter the building. So our shelf that we had used months building, was now our “bartender storage space” next to our LAN seats instead. After the event, the shelf ended in a dumpster…
