Conglomerate 451 is all based on a role-play genre game and i get a feeling of some kind of Final Fantasy feeling when it comes to combat. The game gives you different choices and here are my thoughts about the game.

Story

You are the Director of a special Agency and your mission is to eradicate the corrupt Corporation’s forces from sector 451. In order to achieve this goal, you must send a squad of special agents into the field to accomplish different missions. You start by creating three different types of robots. You have to clone them and make them suit you with different skills.

I had to power up my agents’ DNA and installing ability-granting neural implants, to equipping them with powerful cyber limbs and literally hacking the world around me. I feel there is a big lack of story mode on the game, I didn´t really fell into the story.
I miss good cut scenes the whole game, felt it was a rush project. It looks undone to me with small animation scenes and mostly just text.

Graphics

Well, the graphics aren´t really that awesome, i expect more from games from 2019. We have come so far in the graphics world. It’s not the worst I have seen, but not the best.
The main reason is the character looks bad in fightmode, the walking style is just awful and looks like a game from 1998. Some elements like buildings and shadows are actually not that bad. The elevator on the first mission is blurry and not good pixel

I have a huge issue with the music in-game, I really don´t feel its a good match into the game and the surrounding in the fight. However, I like the voice acting on Clarisse

Gameplay

The game is easy to understand and you have the basic six-button to focus on Q/E 1-2-3-4 and that’s it. You walk around and do the same thing on every mission, you fight and you win, and you fight and loose. I lost 5 times and it got me really frustrated. I felt like the % of accuracy just always was at the AI side and my robots just missed.

I put effort into learning different skills and after a while, they finally started to feel powerful.

The game has some good voice acting but the lack of creativity in missions and cutscenes makes it fast boring for me to play.

Classic dungeon crawling – Face your enemies in a cyberpunk take on classic, turn-based dungeon crawling gameplay by choosing the best strategy, taking advantage of their weak points and making the most out of your agents’ skills

Manage your resources – Make use of your own personal R&D department to research advanced technology, unlocking new features, powers, and options for progression

More than just body mods – In addition to upgrading weapon and armor proficiencies, augment your body with interchangeable cyber implants that completely change your agent’s skills and utility

Pain and Trauma system – Even the smallest wounds can have a lasting impact. By taking damage in combat, agents risk generating permanent Traumas that will follow them between missions

Procedural cyber dungeons – Experience the dungeon crawling you love, mixed with future technology as you take on procedurally-generated dungeons and missions

If you die in the game… – Each mission could be your last thanks to agent permadeath. Consider every move, because if an agent dies in battle, they will be lost forever

Hack the world – Enter cyberspace mid-mission and hack your way ahead of the competition to get crucial intel and give yourself the advantage

A lot of different mini-games is also a big plus

Controls

Well, the controls are easy, using the keyboard and the mouse. Easy settings to fix into the keybinding you like.

Replay Value

The missions are pretty much the same thing, but you have different minigames that give you some more fun. And ofc if you die, the agent is done and you have to restart so it can give you quite a struggle.

I think its some cool options to add.

Verdict

The game itself has potential but for me, this game just don’t suit me.
Every time you walk around and fight, you find new loot, enemies and map layouts. Well, the map layouts aren´t changing that much, but you get to see different things.
The potential of how much time you can sink in and continue uncovering more all the while is an overwhelming prospect in the best way.
